ANEXOS

ANEXOS

Studying how the city expands by forming rings with its initial center, it is evident how in recent decades, social changes have been projected onto the landscape. With the series Anexos the city is seen from the outside, from the landscape that precedes it.  Located in any city, these places that contain the degraded between the rural and the urban, are diaphanous against the agglomeration of the city’s landscape.  In these moments of rupture with an economic model very centred on construction, from very different fields a decrease is observed, I think that these places better than any other contain the marks and scars of this rupture. When taking distance from human vision, using the artifice of the focus to break the scale of the landscape, I refer to the condition of these places that contain, in their emptiness and their current paralysis, a latent project and a frontier with the norms and uses of the urban space.
